The 46th edition of Expointer, one of the most important agricultural and livestock fairs in Latin America, will be held from August 26 to September 3. Brazilwill be held at the Assis Brasil State Exhibition Park in the municipality of Esteio, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Farmers, veterinary and agronomy students, agricultural supplies and machinery companies, animal breeders and other agricultural and agribusiness professionals will meet to show the latest news and trends in these productive activities.
The event will feature technical seminars, demonstration machines, animal testing and auctions, craft shows, contests and cultural events. The Expointer is an impressive marketing window, which, in the 2022 edition resulted in a record turnover of 7,146,148,486.21 brazilian reals (about 1.5 billion US dollars). The event is promoted by the State Governmentthrough the Secretary of Agriculture; the Federation of Agriculture of Rio Grande do Sul, Farsul; the Federation of Agricultural Workers, Fetag/RS; the Union of the Agricultural Machinery and Implement Industries of Rio Grande do SulSimers; the Union and Organization of Cooperatives of the State of Rio Grande do SulOcergs; the mEsteio municipalityand the Brazilian Federation of Breeders of Breeders of Breed Animalsa, Febrac.

Activities for the whole family
Those attending the event will be able to enjoy the exhibition of more than 150 breeds of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry, among others. The Family Farming Fair will also be held, where products from the colonial gaucho cuisine, such as breads, cakes, sweets, salamis, cheeses, preserves, liquors, sausages, among other products, will be sold.
