The General Directorate of Biosecurity and Food Safety (DIGEBIA) of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries, MGAPhas launched a press call to unveil its new communication campaign, entitled "Let's prevent it from happening.".
The official presentation of this project, which seeks to inform and sensitize the population on the relevance of sanitary controls, will take place this Wednesday, June 21, starting at 11:00 a.m. at MGAP headquarters.
The event will be broadcasted live on the Portal Agroalimentariothrough a link to MGAP Uruguay's YouTube channel.
The Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries will speak on the occasion, Fernando Mattos (photo), the director of DIGEBIA, Virginia Guardia, and the manager of the Health Barriers Area, Andrés Salvo.
For the government institution, "the objective of the call is to inform and raise awareness among the population about the importance of the controls carried out by Barreras Sanitarias"..
