The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP), through the Agricultural Statistics Office (DIEA) and in collaboration with the National Statistics Institute (INE), has announced the reactivation of the activities of the General Agricultural Census as of March 14, 2024.

Those who have not yet participated in the process will have the opportunity to do so at the census points strategically located at the FMD vaccine distribution sites. This measure not only facilitates access to the census, but also takes advantage of the existing infrastructure to ensure greater coverage and participation.
In addition, for those who prefer the convenience of completing the census from their home or workplace, the option of completing it via the web has been made available through the official INE site. This alternative not only provides flexibility in terms of time and location, but also streamlines the process and reduces the need for physical resources.
It is important to highlight that, in order to provide support and clarify any doubts that may arise during the census process, a free telephone service has been made available to interested parties. By simply calling the number 0800 1908, available from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 20:00 hours, assistance and guidance can be obtained from trained personnel.
